Endoscopic Ear Surgery Workshop

The Endoscopic Ear Surgery Workshop is a hands-on endoscopic ear surgery course suitable for practicing otolaryngologists and senior otolaryngology trainees.   While key surgical techniques will be described and demonstrated by well-known international and U.S. Faculty, the main emphasis of the course will be to provide hands-on dissection experience using fresh-frozen cadavers and state-of-the-art equipment.

Learning Objectives       
•    As a result of participation in the proposed education activity/knowledge resource, participants should be able to:
•    Discuss the advantages and limitations of using endoscopes for transcanal ear surgery
•    Demonstrate the endoscopic anatomy of the ear and lateral skull base
•    Practice transcanal endoscopic ear surgery techniques in the dissection laboratory
